Aram Desteian to Present at National Legal Malpractice Conference

Bassford Remele General Counsel Aram Desteian will be a panelist for “When the Client’s License is on the Line – Defending Attorney Disciplinary Complaints” at the American Bar Association National Legal Malpractice Conference in New Orleans on April 4, 2024.
- In this ethics program, an experienced and distinguished panel will provide an overview of best practices in defending ethics complaints against attorneys, including the importance of involving expert disciplinary defense counsel, the differences between defending disciplinary matters and other litigation, and key strategies when defending a disciplinary proceeding while also simultaneously defending a malpractice claim arising from the same facts.

Aram Desteian represents businesses in complex commercial litigation, and also counsels and defends other lawyers against a spectrum of professional liability claims.
