Bassford Remele Shareholder Sarah Hoffman co-chaired the Medical Malpractice Conference on Thursday, April 12, 2023. Shareholder Anu Chudasama presented "Criminal Liability for Medical Negligence: The Case of RaDonda Vaught."

Sarah Hoffman is a health care litigator who helps systems, hospitals, clinics, and individual providers navigate and prevent lawsuits, investigations, board proceedings, and hearings. Sarah is co-chair of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association Medical Liability and Health Care Law Committee and serves as a volunteer for the Tubman Safety Project. She also serves on Bassford Remele’s Board of Directors.

Anu Chudasama is a skilled litigator who has represented individuals and entities at all stages of litigation, including on appeal. Anu focuses her practice in the areas of medical malpractice, legal malpractice, personal injury, insurance coverage disputes, and general liability. She has significant experience in cases involving professional malpractice, vehicular collisions, premises liability, wrongful death, fires/explosions, and products liability. Anu is the Chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Professional Regulation Committee. She was appointed by the Minnesota Supreme Court to the No-Fault Standing Committee and is an active no-fault arbitrator. Anu has also been active in the State Bar of Wisconsin. She has served on the Board of Governors, including as Chair of its Governance Committee, as well as the Nonresident Lawyers Division Board as President.
