Preandra S. Landrum

Biography

Preandra Landrum is a litigation attorney, focusing her practice on consumer finance.

Admitted to the bars of Indiana, Illinois, and Maryland, Preandra brings diverse experience from roles in both public and private sectors. Before joining Bassford Remele, Preandra served as a General Attorney for the Department of Veterans Affairs, where she managed complex litigation.

Preandra has significant experience defending national corporations in complex federal litigation. As lead defense counsel for a major national credit reporting agency—one of the industry’s “big three”—Preandra handled commercial Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) compliance cases across multiple federal district courts. She managed a docket of more than 30 cases at a time, developing strategic responses and negotiating settlements when in her clients’ best interests.

Preandra has prepared a wide range of legal documents to support case development, including discovery requests and responses, motions for judgment on the pleadings, and proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law. She regularly participates in federal court hearings and conferences, and she is well-versed in providing detailed case assessments and updates to corporate in-house counsel. Her work ensures thorough representation and effective communication throughout every stage of litigation.
