Biography

Sara Filo is a solution-oriented litigator who represents businesses and individuals in a broad range of civil disputes. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation and construction and real estate matters.

Experienced managing all stages of litigation, Sara routinely represents clients in state, federal, and appellate courts. Whatever the dispute, she focuses on driving the resolution that will best align with her client’s goals and priorities.

Before joining Bassford Remele, Sara worked in risk management at a national construction company where she advised business leaders on risk-mitigation strategy and insurance matters. Her other private practice experience includes products liability defense in the areas of pharmaceutical and medical devices, including class action lawsuits.
