Biography
Tal Bakke is a trial attorney who focuses his practice in the areas of professional liability and commercial litigation. Tal takes pride in being an advocate for his clients and helping navigate the stress of litigation.
As a trial attorney, Tal has experience representing clients in all stages of litigation, from pre-suit advice and counsel through trial and appeals, involving commercial and business disputes and professional liability claims made against health care entities, attorneys, and other professionals. Tal has successfully obtained dismissal of claims on behalf of his clients in state and federal court and received favorable verdicts for his clients at trial.
Tal graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and served on the executive board of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review as managing editor for Law Review.

- Obtained a defense verdict in a professional malpractice claim against a health care professional.
- Obtained a defense verdict in a products liability claim.
- Obtained voluntary dismissal of attorney meaningful involvement claim and summary judgment in favor of collection law firm on consumer FDCPA claim that law firm failed to verify the debt before executing on judgment.
- Obtained dismissal of professional liability claims against attorney on the grounds the plaintiffs lacked standing to assert the claims.
- Obtained summary judgment dismissal of negligence claims made by plaintiffs alleging their neighbors altered the drainage of their property causing water to flow into plaintiffs’ basement.
- Obtained summary judgment dismissal of negligence claims made by plaintiff who was injured while trespassing on an open residential construction site.
- Obtained summary judgment dismissal of § 1983 claims on behalf of government clients.
