Jessica Klander Elected COO; Casey Marshall and Kyle Willems Elected to Board

Bassford Remele is proud to announce that Jessica Klander has been elected Chief Operating Officer of Bassford Remele. Casey Marshall and Kyle Willems have been elected to its Board of Directors.
Jessica Klander is the co-chair of Bassford Remele’s consumer finance practice group and recruiting committee. She will bring a fresh perspective on firm operations that will benefit Bassford Remele and its clients. Jessica’s practice focuses on defending lawyers, financial entities, healthcare providers, and other organizations against consumer financial protection claims, malpractice, and professional liability claims. In particular, she counsels organizations on privacy, data security, and governmental and regulatory affairs. She advises and represents health care organizations, collection agencies, and law firms against state and federal regulatory inquiries, civil investigative demands, and consumer lawsuits. Jessica has been named as a Top Lawyer by Minnesota Lawyer, a Minnesota Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers, an Up & Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer, and to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch. Jessica serves as Treasurer of the Hennepin County Bar Association and on insideArm’s Legal Advisory Board.
Casey Marshall is chair of Bassford Remele’s business and commercial litigation practice group and co-chair of its trust and estate litigation practice group. Casey will bring his knowledge and experience to support Bassford’s long-standing tradition of excellence and continued success into the future. Casey is a litigator who represents companies and individuals in business and commercial disputes, and navigates families, businesses, and individuals through trust and estate conflicts. Casey has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict and routinely represents clients in state, federal, and appellate courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Casey is active in the Minnesota State Bar Association and is on the Board of Directors of the Twin Cities Estate Planning Council. Casey has been named as a Top Lawyer by Minnesota Monthly, a Super Lawyer by Minnesota Super Lawyers, an Attorney of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer, and to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.
Kyle Willems is co-chair of Bassford Remele’s construction practice group and recruiting committee. Kyle will bring a wealth of experience working with entrepreneurs and cutting-edge businesses to enhance the firm and pass it on to our clients. Kyle is a business litigation attorney who primarily guides businesses and business owners through disputes in the real estate and construction sectors. He is licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Kyle is recognized as a Minnesota Rising Star by Super Lawyers and he has been selected as an Up & Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer. He has also been named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and as a Top Lawyer by Minnesota Monthly.
