Aram Desteian and Holly Lechner to Present on Ethics and Professional Responsibility
Bassford Remele attorneys Aram Desteian and Holly Lechner will present on ethics and professional responsibility in September. On September 15, 2026, they will present “Complying with New Developments in Ethics and Professional Responsibility” for Minnesota CLE, addressing recent Minnesota discipline cases and selected recent ABA formal opinions. They will also present “Malpractice and Ethics Hot Topics” at the MIE National Conference for Legal Aid Managers on September 23, 2026.
Aram Desteian is a shareholder and General Counsel at Bassford Remele, where his practice focuses on professional liability and legal ethics. He co-chairs the firm’s Lawyers Professional Liability and Professional Responsibility practice groups and regularly assists lawyers in preventing and navigating lawsuits, disciplinary investigations, board proceedings, and hearings involving legal malpractice and the law of lawyering. He also represents businesses in a wide range of business disputes and is a council member and former chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Professionalism and Ethics Section.
Holly Lechner is an attorney at Bassford Remele, where her practice focuses on lawyers’ professional responsibility, health care, and intellectual property law. She assists clients with legal ethics and professional responsibility matters and brings litigation experience that includes discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Professionalism and Ethics Section.
