Daniela Erickson Joins Bassford Remele
This week, we’re pleased to share another exciting addition to our Labor & Employment team. After adding Elisabeth Brady to our group two months ago to offer substantial experience in labor-law advice and counsel at Bassford, in this issue we introduce you to Daniela Erickson. Daniela brings significant employment, litigation, workplace compliance, OSHA, immigration, and business-advisory experience, along with a practical, solutions‑driven approach to clients’ most pressing workplace challenges.
Daniela Erickson joins Bassford Remele with a broad employment and litigation background spanning in-house, private practice, trial work, and corporate leadership. Before joining Bassford, Daniela served at Xcel Energy Services, Inc., where she advised business leaders and human resources professionals on complex employment law matters, including performance management, employee discipline, ADA accommodations, workplace safety, immigration sponsorship, diversity and inclusion, and organizational risk management. She also managed responses to federal and state agency investigations, including OSHA and EEOC matters, by leading internal investigations, coordinating documentation and legal strategy, and negotiating resolutions to reduce organizational risk and liability.
Daniela is known for translating complex legal and operational issues into clear, business-aligned guidance. Her experience includes building employment-based immigration and I-9 compliance processes at Xcel, guiding leaders through workplace investigations and regulatory responses, developing and facilitating employment law and safety trainings, drafting employment agreements, policies, legal memoranda, and other workplace documents, and representing clients in employment, commercial, insurance defense, and appellate litigation. She will add depth to Bassford Remele’s Employment Advice & Counsel services, helping employers manage compliance obligations, employee relations, workplace investigations, agency matters, and litigation risk.
We are delighted to have Daniela join our team and the added depth she brings to our employment, litigation, compliance, OSHA, immigration, and workplace advisory capabilities. We look forward to partnering with her to continue delivering responsive, business‑minded guidance that helps clients navigate an evolving workplace landscape.
