Elisabeth Brady Joins Bassford Remele

This week, we’re pleased to share some exciting news from our Labor & Employment team. In this issue, we introduce Elisabeth Brady, a new attorney who brings significant labor experience and a practical, solutions‑driven approach to your most pressing workplace challenges.

Elisabeth (Liz) Brady joins Bassford with fifteen years of labor and employment experience in the public sector, including multiple senior roles within state and local government where she provided high-level labor relations counsel to large, complex agencies. Most recently, Liz served as Senior Assistant Ramsey County Attorney, representing Ramsey County in contested employment matters including arbitrations, discipline and discharge hearings, unfair labor practice claims, and charges of discrimination, and advising leadership on sensitive employee relations matters and labor dynamics. Prior to her county government work, Liz oversaw labor relations operations for state government agencies employing thousands of unionized workers. She was Labor Relations Manager at the Minnesota Department of Transportation and the Minnesota Department of Health, and acted as lead spokesperson in collective bargaining negotiations between the state and its multiple labor partners while at Minnesota Management and Budget.

Liz is known for her thoughtful counsel, strong advocacy, and ability to navigate complex labor environments with clarity and precision. She will lead Bassford Remele’s Labor Relations Advice & Counsel services.
