Biography
Sara Wilson represents clients in both transactions and litigation, bringing particular depth to matters involving agribusiness and agriculture.
Her practice includes real estate, business, agribusiness and agriculture, trust and estate matters, and professional liability defense, including legal malpractice and accounting malpractice claims. She advises clients on complex real estate and business transactions, governance and succession planning, title, zoning, environmental, and financing issues, and disputes that call for practical judgment and strategic advocacy.
With her agribusiness and agriculture experience, Sara understands the legal and operational considerations that shape land use, commercial relationships, ownership transitions, and risk management. She also counsels families, fiduciaries, and other stakeholders in estate and trust matters, combining litigation experience with a thoughtful approach to planning and administration.
Sara’s transactional work includes assisting clients with the purchase, sale, leasing, financing, and development of real estate; resolving title, zoning, and environmental issues; business formation, governance, and succession planning; and loan documentation for commercial lenders.
Sara also has significant experience in trust and estate matters, from litigating disputes to advising on estate plans and counseling families through estate and trust administration.
In professional liability defense cases, Sara defends attorneys and accountants in malpractice claims and related disputes, drawing on her litigation experience and practical understanding of professional standards, client service, and risk management.
Sara’s background in the arts continues to inform her legal practice. Before becoming an attorney, she worked at the Frederick R. Weisman Art Museum as a Registrar, experience that required creativity, collaboration, precision, and careful project management. She brings those same qualities to her client work, helping clients navigate complex matters with organization, perspective, and a focus on practical outcomes.
