Jessica Klander and Patrick Newman Appointed as ACA Attorney State Chairs

Consumer Law Defense Team member Jessica Klander was recently appointed to serve as ACA International’s Attorney State Chair for Minnesota. Patrick Newman was appointed to serve as Attorney State Chair for Wisconsin. In addition, Christopher Morris continues his service as North Dakota’s Attorney State Chair.
The Attorney State Chair Program gives ACA units and their members access to an attorney licensed to practice law in their state. State chairs volunteer to take calls, be available as legal resources, refer attorneys, and assist their unit.
Attorney State Chair Program participants serve a crucial role, working in their community and throughout their state to strengthen relationships between attorneys and their member clients, recruit new members, and increase the participation of members in ACA and unit activities.
In addition, the volunteers work as valuable resources for ACA and unit efforts, identifying issues that may have a legislative or regulatory impact at the state or federal level.
